I normally wear an 11 1/2 and ordered that same size and they fit very well. I only took a single star off because I have come to appreciate a larger toe box than these have and so noticed that was a bit lacking in these shoes. I will stress that the toe box is not a problem but as a runner and buyer of many running shoes, I noticed the toe box right away and it's the only thing about these well constructed and comfortable shoes that is any problem at all.

No sizing problem: I ordered these in size 10 (usually wear a size 10 in Brooks) and while they might be a tad larger, a half-size smaller would be too small. Just inserted my orthotic and I'm good to go. Highly recommend.

Based on that, I ordered the proper size in EU from the conversion chart. STP shipped the size I ordered in US sizing, unlike the website indicated, so it was too small.
I called STP and was told I have to pay the return shipping of $3 and shipping for the other size of $3. I couldn't believe with the confusion in their own website that customer service couldn't fix this problem without costing me more money. I'm inclined to return and make this my last STP purchase if that's how they handle this. -

The sizing on the website is confusing, not clear whether it is listing UK sizing or USA sizing. When the shoes arrived they were too small, due to the confusion. Twice I contacted Sierra Trading post for help in clarifying which sizes were listed on the website. Twice I was told that the representative needed to check and they promised that they would get back with me. Still have not received a response. I have returned the shoes and will look elsewhere for another pair.
