They are very fuzzy on the inside and incredibly warm. I would not use them for any kind of exercise. They are too hot, but good for after skiing or some other outdoor pursuit in winter.

My legs are on the shorter side so these drag on the ground for me. Despite that - and some slight pilling - these are great pants. I will probably keep them as house pants because of the length issue. I'm sure they'd work great for yoga if you are taller.
