They do give some as they mold to your foot. I assume most will wear them without socks ad I do. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they are slippery on wet decking. They are more of a fashion shoe I guess. I plan to wear them with sporty skirts for dog walking. I am an 8 1/2 and I took my normal size.
