  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Love These Boots!

I will for sure be wearing these boots out! I took them on my Alaskan fishing trip and while it was rainy all week up there and used them most days. They kept my feet dry and with wool socks were not too hot on the mild temperature days. I live with rain all winter and look forward to wearing these a lot. They are super cushioned so comfortable to stand and walk. I would buy these again for sure!

I haven't had a chance to test these boots out in the rain yet, but they fit well, look great, and are very solid. Love the traction on the soles!

Love that it's a non-traditional color, and it is short and wide enough at the opening for my muscular calves. It's lined, which some people might like, but I would have preferred non-lined and just wear tall socks or something.

I am a gardener, with gloppy clay soil, AND I live in Oregon. These boots sit at the ready by my back door, to easily slip-on for all manner of outdoor chores. They are comfortable! Have good support! Are cute as the dickens! And IF we get winter rain, i am sure they will do well for all activities short of trekking Mt. Shasta. Bravo Sperry! They are true to size...I get all boots in an 8 and these are spot on.

About Sperry

After a slippery boat deck nearly sent him overboard, lifelong sailor and inventor Paul Sperry created the first pair of Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes in 1935. Determined to find a solution for better traction, Paul carved small grooves into the bottom of his rubber-soled shoes, called “siping.” His idea for the prototype was actually modeled after his dog’s paws, which had evolved to navigate slick, wet terrain. Today, Sperry boots and shoes combine siped rubber soles for outstanding traction with advanced technical fabrics to keep out the watery elements. Over the years, Sperry boat shoes have even become the official footwear of the U.S. Sailing Team, the Shimano Fishing Tour and the U.S. Naval Academy.
