4.0 out of 5 stars. Sew on buttons?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Hampshire on Saturday, July 18, 2015It's 2015, and these still have sew on buttons.
Fit is a little tight, color is very bright. I washed them the first time with towels and the color didn't seem to run like other said.
Not a bad deal for the price, but be ready for the sew on buttons to give, and make sure you have the patience for the buttoned pockets.

5.0 out of 5 stars. run large!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from seattle on Tuesday, July 14, 2015I am a woman that bought these shorts so I wasn't sure of the sizing, but I think they run 1 size larger than usual. I had to re-order smaller and return the first pair. Ripstop cotton - my fave and I don't think it mentions this in the description. A really nice red as well. I am picky about colors.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So Cute!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Jersey on Friday, May 1, 2015Husband loves it!. Nice, soft, light material and the red looks good on him. Size 34 was a right fit for him. Wish STP has it for females, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars. The Color Runneth OverReviewed by Early Bird Hiker from California on Friday, April 17, 2015I bought this in red and received it a few days ago (Order E24847163). The size is fine and the price very reasonable. The material is a bit thin, which is good for hiking in summer. The only problem I have is that the color is not very fast. Before I put it into the washing machine, I just tested it by washing it manually, and I am glad I did, since the color is very loose. I will wash it manually for a while until the color does not run any more. For me this is a minor irritation.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Buy!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas Gulf Coast on Thursday, February 26, 2015These Haggar shorts are well made of light weight Rip-Stop materal, fit well and are true to size.
The four star rating is because, like all cargo shorts, they are made to hang just below the knee which in my opinion is a real pain. The model in the picture must be about 6'4" tall for the shorts to fall that high above his knees.
Altogether, a great buy. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Good ShortsReviewed by Nate the Skate from New Jersey on Monday, December 1, 2014Based on the product photo I was expecting a thicker, twill-like material. Instead the material seems quite thin. One reviewer mentioned that these were made of "rip-stop" material. Not sure if that is the case. I haven't tested them in the woods and I'm not sure if I will. It would seem that in the woods Carhartt canvas (or some other sturdier material) would be more appropriate. I think that they will be a nice option for hot, summer days for casual wear. I'm happy with the purchase. Very nice price and good fit.
