I normally take a 10-12 in tops, and took a chance and ordered the large since I would rather have it fit a bit too big rather than a bit too small. I like it, although it is too big, but not big enough that I felt I should return it. It's hard to say whether a medium would have been a better fit.... perhaps so, but without trying on the medium, it's difficult to know for sure. It still looks good though.

Looks wonderful, feminine but not overly done, lays nice on the body, hangs nice, feels great, everything I wanted in a summer sweater. Looks great with both dresses and pants. Wish I had several more in other colors.
