The length is perfect for my 5'3" petite frame. I like jackets to be longer than long tops and this does a great job without being too long. The arms are long for me but then most sleeves are. It is not a problem though. The fabric is lush and thicker than I was expecting, which was a treat! The hood is a good size and covers the head, not a skimpy hood. The jacket is very well made. I will wear it for many years and look great in it because it is a bit "dressier"/"classier" looking than a traditional sports hoodie. I highly recommend!

So lucky I scored this in black and at halt off. I would size up for layering. Hot Chillys has always made good first layer clothing in my experience.
My fave features are the flattering cut, true jet black color, the inner and outer textures, the embroidering and the stand up collar and the good zipper.
I Will wear this for years to come.
I have not washed it yet, but I am sure it will stand up fine. -
