I like them so much that when the 5 1/2 was too big I ordered the 5 even though I'm giving the 5 1/2 to the Goodwill because I've worn them too much to return to STP. A couple of the reviews said they ran small which is why I went with the 5 1/2 first but they seem to run large to me. I wear a 5 in heels and a 5 1/2 or 6 in runners and usually a 5 1/2 in boots but even the 5 in this boot is plenty roomy even with boot socks. Very comfortable. Lots of padding in the footbed and the heel is just the right height. I've walked my dog in them which is always the test.

Born runs large....traded 5.5's for 5's and 5's fit just right, with plenty of wiggle room. I usually wear 5's in pumps, 5.5 in boots. Adorable with boot-legs & all length skirts. Born hit it out of the park with these.

Everything you'd expect from Born such as quality, comfort and great design. If you are looking for them in black in 5.5 or 6, maybe search a little more...6pm dot com has some in black at thirty-six bucks...rare to beat an STP price.

The brown leather is lightly embossed in croc pattern. Looks great & the black looks right in un-embossed pebbled leather. The diamond design is eminently touchable and very pretty. Super comfortable, supportive, stable & totally chic. They look good with boot-cut or straight jeans. Can't wait to wear with skirts as well. The heels are a little higher than I was looking for but they're proportioned so you get height without losing the laid-back look of a traditional Western boot. IMO Born run large. I wear 5's in most shoes, 5.5 in most boots. I bought 5.5's & am returning for 5's. The linings are so comfy & a fun surprise...which I won't spoil ;)

I am in size 6 and ordered 6 in black. These are great with jeans, leggings and skirt. The quality of leather is good and they are super comfortable. Very pleased with the purchase!!!

I'm not sure what material the heel is made of so only time will tell if it'll last. Right now it's comfortable and cushiony. I ordered my usual size, 5-1/2, but they were too big. I ended up returning them for a size 5 and that worked better.

This pair has a slightly higher heel that my other boots and I was concerned about that but I work them to a football game and had no problem.
