They do not have a lot of stretch, however, they run somewhat large. They do stretch out after you hve them on a while. I find them comfortable and I love the fabric.

I also liike that they have an elastic waist. These pants do not have a trememdous stretch which is probably because of the hemp content. They do, however, stretch out after wearing a while so you may want to go down a size. I would say they aren't for everyone. I feel they would work well for tall, thin women definitely not for the shorter and stockier.

I'm blaming my 29" waist and 36" hips. I went with a sz 8. Length was perfect for 5'7". I'll just have to tweak the waist to not gap. I don't think I would be able to get the sz 6 over my hips...but the waist would probably be perfect. The rest was perfect. The legs weren't too tight, like jeggings can sometimes be. Fabric is very soft, and other than the waist, held its shape nicely. I'll be wearing these a lot - and ordering more if/when they are in stock in my size!
