It is very stylish and can be worn as a top layer. The size is a little snug but a large fit me well. I am 5'3 and weigh 125. It is just right proportion wise for a shorter person. I am going to wear it tomorrow night at a fire pit party in Eastern Oregon. The temperature will be in the 50's.
