I first got them despite the glittery top - but now I like it, it's fun. And I have found a damp cloth will clean the top off quite easily if you happen to spill breakfast on your slippers, a real plus. I ordered a second pair. Note as everyone says they do run large; I take a size 8, ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly.
