3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for meReviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Monday, January 5, 2015I really wanted to like these shoes, but my feet wouldn't cooperate. After much use and investigation, I figured out it's the 4mm rise that doesn't work for my feet. I need an 8-10mm rise and these are just too flat. Kills my arches and caused bottom-of-foot pain and happens even when I just wear around town casually. They're super-cute but I cannot wear them at all. This is just relevant to me. However, I do have a comment about the "trail" portion of this shoe. I do mud runs and have previously used Saucony Glide that had no trail sole and Montrail trail runners that worked great. This Saucony did not have the grip I needed and I was sliding all over the place. The grip on rock and dirt seems to be ok, but definitely not for mud. Just my two cents.

4.0 out of 5 stars. perfect for trail runningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from los angeles on Sunday, September 7, 2014i trail run and hike and for some reason never tried a trail shoe. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! im so excited to get out there. the minus star is for the size discrepancy , im willing to take sung fit to avoid returning but this was unwearable, had to do the whole process of returning but well worth it. half size up.
