5.0 out of 5 stars. Saucony XodusVerified Buyer Reviewed by Glenn from Baltimore,Md. on Monday, February 16, 2015Terrific running shoes. Fit me to size which was 10.5M. Nice cushioning and great color scheme. Comfortable toe box and hard to believe this is a closeout item. I was seriously thinking of buying a second pair to have as a backup or to use for walking as a spike less golf shoe in the afternoon on the course. Very happy with the fit and the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes, great value!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Capt'n B from Triad area North Carolina on Thursday, January 29, 2015I found these shoes on STP after shopping several shoes at several locations. Most of the shoes that made the short list were over $100. When I saw these and saw the discounted price (half of the others), I did a little research and knew I had to grab them. They are everything I was looking for...light, supportive, and very comfortable right out of the box. I'll be doing a 100 mile loop hike in a couple months and I have no worries about my feet holding up in these shoes!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Top 5 trail shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tim123 from Ohio on Monday, January 12, 2015I paid less than $50 for these. A legitimate top 5 trail shoe. I have had Hi-Tec and Ahnu trail shoes and both of their high-end shoes are excellent. Without a Vibram sole most trail running shoes will wear out very quickly. It is a prerequisite for any trail running shoe I buy. This runs half size small but the toe box is large enough for my foot and the lateral support is excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from SoCal on Thursday, December 25, 2014The Vibram sole provides the traction and the cushion is tops. The perfect light, cool day hiker (I suppose you could run in it too).

5.0 out of 5 stars. comfort plusVerified Buyer Reviewed by Training for Mt. Blanc from Colorado Springs on Sunday, December 14, 2014This is my third pair of these shoes and I still love them! They are not only very comfortable, but the outer sole has a great grip for the trails.

5.0 out of 5 stars. A step up from Brooks Cascadia.Reviewed by Keepingcadence from Central Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 6, 2014After trying out and shredding off the tread off of three different pairs of Salomons, and two pairs of Brooks Cascadia, I bought two pairs of Xodus, initially for Vibram soles. From the get-go, they are more stable, comfortable and durable than any other trail shoes I've ever worn in my 22+ years of running. I like to try different brands of shoes, just for variety, but I'm planning on sticking with this model, based on the review that I've given above. They're very tough, grippy, and agile. They feel snug against my heel, no sloppy fit. This is the only shoe in recent memory that has no downside...all good. . I run on rocky, muddy trails, unforgiving stuff, no problem, even good for pavement. The 4mm drop may not agree with some runners, but they're not minimalist shoes, they have plenty of cushioning, but don't feel bulky.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Hubby Likes ThemVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Philadelphia on Tuesday, November 18, 2014I have two pairs of these shoes in women's. I absolutely love them so I bought the men's version for hubby. He says they're not quite as comfortable as the Saucony Kinvara 4's that he owns but still likes them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoeReviewed by frogpod from planet earth on Monday, November 17, 2014Bought a second pair. Great shoe. I will probably buy a 3rd pair. They start out stiff, almost like a light hiking shoe. Good top foot support and cradling. They loosen up after 50 miles. I like the breathable mesh, even in cold weather. But a half size larger, as they do run a bit small in length.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Saucony Xodus 4.0 Trail Running Shoes (For Men)Verified Buyer Reviewed by ShopperBob from SoCal on Monday, November 10, 2014Appears to be a very good shoe. High quality with good features. I suspect it will last like any other similar shoe. Because it runs small however, and there is no 13-1/2, I had to buy a 14 and therefore it is just a bit sloppy for my taste. If these companies would only standardize the sizing it would sure make life easier for those of us who buy a lot of shoes. Only four stars because of the sizing.
