Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 Tech Base Layer Zip Neck Top - UPF 30+, Merino Wool, Midweight, Long Sleeve (For Women)

First off, my review is based on the following measurements: 5'4 3/4" tall, 120 lbs., 36C bust, short torso from waist to shoulder, 37” from hip bone to floor. I tend to wear a 6/8 top. The Medium Bodyfit 260 Zip Neck falls just below my hips where I like it. When I reach up or for something, it stays put. It is loose enough that I wear it over turtlenecks or tees that are thin or somewhat close-to-body fit. I can also wear it over my pinpoint collared oxford shirts if I play/adjust the fit. This product is perfect for women who "run cold" and work in a cold office, home, classroom, or vehicle. I also use it for layering in my yoga class and on winter hikes. In my case, a "small" would have allowed using the product under looser turtlenecks. However, I would suggest a Small Icebreaker Crewneck for that purpose (what I used on a trip to Chicago last winter). The zipper allows for some cooling off if you so choose. I bought this item in a Navy (or Admiral Blue) and Eggplant/Purple and have washed them each 5X‘s now since purchasing in Nov.2014. The colors are holding well. I wash in cold and tumble dry. Once I have “over-dried” them, yet they held their shape and have not pilled the way my Smartwool zip up has.
Best of all, this wool is soft. Plus, the inside "thumb hook" on the sleeve allows me to cover my hands when I go outside briefly.
