2.0 out of 5 stars. Vibram outer sole comes off.Reviewed by David from Montana on Friday, August 28, 2015I want to like these shoes, and am trying to repair them for the second time. They are light weight and nimble, though on the first long trip (10 miles of trail) the Vibram sole started to separate (several "lugs" on the heel mostly). I've used epoxy and shoe glue, but it keeps separating. Before this happened I almost ordered a second pair to have when these wore out, though I think I will see what I can get out of these and then move on to a different shoe.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Very uncomfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by familytree from due south on Friday, August 14, 2015Have had good experiences with New Balance size 10.5 in the past.
However, these are very low and hard at the heal.
Front of innersole has a ridge at toe tips that gave me blisters on a 3-mile run.
Returned. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great trail shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NEO on Thursday, August 6, 2015I can really feel the trail with these shoes--no more turned ankles. They seem sturdier than the prior version, and have lasted longer.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good loooking, versatile, comfortable.Verified Buyer Reviewed by M_Rose from Northern California on Tuesday, August 4, 2015Got them for a recent trip- very happy with light weight, comfort, quick dry-out when wet and trail worthiness- also great driving shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Casual, hiking and trail runningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Southern Ohio on Monday, May 4, 2015Good overall shoe for walking around town, light hikes with the family and moderate trail runs of 3-8 miles over hard packed, rolling hills. Good grip on ascent and descent no matter the surface. Rocks are felt underneath but not to the point of being painful, still has a good "feel" on the trail and dries fairly quickly when wet. If you're looking for a compromise between cushioned trail runners and zero drop minimalists, these are a good choice. Are versatile enough to be worn with jeans, shorts (no socks) or on the trails. I had to return my normal size for 1/2 size smaller, but STP made the process painless and hassle free.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Run SmallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ben from Wayne, PA on Monday, April 20, 2015I do not have any issues with the company Sierra Trading Post, but these sneakers ran small to size. I'm normally a size 10 which is what I ordered, but failed to read some other reviews beforehand which may have steered me towards size 10.5. Either way, once I wore them very briefly the barefoot design felt very odd. Also, inside the shoe where your toes plant was not cushioned. It also seemed as if the insoles did not run to the edge of the shoe making them very uncomfortable. I have since returned them for other shoes. My advice to anyone else is to order at least a half size smaller, and if you have never owned barefoot style shoes beware it could take some getting used to.

4.0 out of 5 stars. NB MinimusVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Torrance, CA on Wednesday, April 8, 2015Well. This is my first experience with a Minimus trail shoe.
on my very first wearing, they are extremely light, but a little unstable across the instep.
it will take a few sessions to really feel comfortable, since I have becomes used to the more traditional
trail running shoes in the 800 series. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight comortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Father of 3 girls from Louisiana on Wednesday, April 8, 2015I bought these for the Vibram outsole, I like the durability of Vibram. I needed to replace some worn out New Balance runners that lasted just over 2 years.
The don't have a ton of cushioning, but are comfortable and supportive.
They also don't have a removable insole.
So far, the shoes are great and I'd recommend them. -
