I contacted Sierra customer service and they sent out a new 3-pack immediately. These are very comfortable and warm socks and I highly recommend them.

The colors & materials might match technical socks like Fox River or SmartWool, but these are cut 100% like tube socks. no elastic anywhere but at the top. I haven't worn socks like that fit these in since high school...

My second orderVerified Buyer Reviewed by eplus17 from Illinois on Saturday, October 15, 2016After several weeks, the socks from my first order (previously reviewed) are still just what I wanted; medium heavy weight wool blend, relatively easy care, and a wide enough foot so that my toes have plenty of room (i.e. the foot of the sock is almost, but not quite baggy). The only problem was that I didn't have enough to wear them everyday. So I ordered five more sets.

Given my age related foot problems, that is just what my podiatrist told me to look for. These socks were perfect; loose enough around the foot so that they don't bind my feet (and probably too loose for serious hiking) but snug enough so there is no obvious bagginess.

Think I'll be mainly wearing them around the house. They are warm, thick, and ill-fitting. The foot area is bigger than average with no shaping. So overall, seems like quality materials, but the fit is sloppy.
