I purchased a size based on the chart and discovered they are a bit 'loose', so if washing them will fix that, then fine. HOWEVER, when I got these I tried them on and discovered along the back leg there was a 5" long snag in the material. I am sure that clipping the large knot on the outside of the jeans will eventually mean a hole. By all means, examine these jeans before accepting them.

I love being able to get a good quality plus size jean in long lengths so they don't look dorky when I'm astride horse or motorcycle! Good, heavy fabtic. My biggest beef is that they almost seem bell-bottomed rather than bootcut, while the striaght leg Cool Vantage jeans seem like bootcuts rather than straight leg.
