5.0 out of 5 stars. beautiful and warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Person who wears socks from Seattle area on Saturday, November 11, 2017I love these slippers. I've had a lot of boiled wool slippers and a lot of Acorn slippers, and this is the best combo of those two factors I've purchased. They are much prettier than they look in the photo (and the photo is very nice), and they are very warm and comfortable. I have only one caveat, if you could call it that: I thought from the photo that the heel curved upward, like a clog, so I ordered a 9 instead of my usual 8 to avoid having to struggle to get my foot in. However, the heel is flush with the insole, so the 8 would have fit fine. That said, they don't slip off my feet -- just make them look a little bigger than they really are!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Acorn doesn't disappointVerified Buyer Reviewed by MLE from Arizona on Tuesday, September 26, 2017I bought my first Acorn slippers nearly 20 years ago and only replaced them because I lost them. These slippers are a great replacement. They're warm but not too warm for a desert climate. They run true to size and are generous in width.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm WooliesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Tuesday, August 26, 2014It may not be the right time of year to rate these shoes. Today it is to be in the low 90's where i live and they are extremely warm. No doubt I will LOVE that as the days get colder. At first the wool seemed a little scratchy but seems to be softening up as I wear them---for very short perods, I confess. I do not like them as well as my original ones which I purchased 30 years ago and which are still just fine, except the wool lining is wearing through. That pair seems much better constructed with a sturdier sole and tighter weaving. But I should not pre-judge. These are from China of course and the others were not. Check back with me after a few months of wear for the proper answer.
