  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Simple but good

It works well and far better than my old one. Only used it twice and am seeing nicks and scratchs in the metal from the board edges. Should just be cosmetic, but the old one never showed any wear after almost 20 years.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great upgrade from my old clothes iron

I've been using an old clothes iron for years, With my daughter beginning to race nordic, I wanted to upgrade to something better. This heats more consistently and evenly, helping to achieve a more professional waxing. Plus, you can't beat the price!

I use it for mine and my sons snowboards. It works just as it should, just remember to warm the board up a bit before hand.

About Swix

Originally founded in Sweden, Swix ski wax first entered the market in 1946, offering a selection of waxes designed for multiple snow conditions. Since acquiring a ski pole manufacturing company in Lillehammer and relocating to Norway, the company expanded its product offering to include waxing irons, tools, ski-tuning kits, outerwear and, of course, Swix ski poles. More recently, Swix gloves, hats and apparel have also been added to the mix. Whether you’ve decided to start tuning your own equipment for the upcoming season or you’re looking for a new soft shell jacket, Swix is always a great source for top-notch winter sport gear.
