The top two-thirds of the blade is fully-serrated (which is fine), but the bottom third isn't just dull, it's completely unsharpened. You may as well try to cut meat with the handle as the useless bottom third of the blade. I can't comprehend why Wusthof manufactured them this way.

They most definitely feel like a capable, quality utensil. They are classic in style, as to look perfect with any of your beloved stainless steel flatware sets. What more could you ask? Oh yes. They're Wusthof, and they're very sharp. If you need steak knives, I would not hesitate to buy or gift these.
