As luck would have it they happened to have it in only my size (8 2E which is a little wider).My first thought when I saw the price was that if they weren't comfortable enough in the treestand I would have only spent $54 and change and that I still had my Danner winter boots and my old beat up work boots as back up.However when I got my boots I was surprised to find that the fit and comfort was awesome right out of the box.Not only that but after wearing them all day that they were a perfect fit for my feet.They seem to be well constructed (as an off shuts of Red Wing I would expect nothing less). I have only given these boots four stars for the fact that they haven't been proven in the field and won't get a chance to until just before October. So I may be updating this post in the near futuren

Due to a dirt bike accident many years ago in which he broke his ankle and had to have a plate and several screws permanently placed, it has been hard to find a pair of boots that don't irritate that leg. He says that these boots have a great arch support, comfortable padded foot bed and the 400 gm of Thinsulate are perfect for our Colorado weather. Because he was fitted for Red Wings in the past by a Red Wing store employee, he already knew he wore a 9.5 EE which is the exact width offered here. After receiving the boots, we ordered a second pair to keep in the closet for future use! Thanks STP for your awesomely fast shipping on both orders ~ we have ordered many things from your company and have never been disappointed!

I have worn my share of boots from several different manufacturers. Some have been good, and some have been absolute junk and a total waste of money. This is the first pair of Irish Setters I have ever worn, but I can say after having worn them for several trips of varying temperatures, these are some of the nicest, most comfortable, and warmest boots I have ever had on my feet. I was in the market for a new pair of boots and was looking for the best deal on Danner Pronghorns when I came across these boots at a great price. They were definitely worth the risk, and I would definitely buy Irish Setters again.

They are lightweight and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that I found the same boot $25.00 cheaper two days after they arrived.
