5.0 out of 5 stars. Very, Very Nice!

I haven't bought a pair of Florsheims since I was a kid (long time ago!) shopping with my parents at the Florsheim store. I took a chance on these based strictly on the Horween Chromexcel leather, and I'm really glad I did. They're true to size, good-looking and extremely comfortable. I haven't had them long enough to assess durability, but I can say that they seem to be extremely well-made. If you're looking for a pair of boat-type moccasins that can coexist happily alongside your Wolverine 1000 Miles or Red Wings, these may be the shoes for you. Liked 'em well enough to order a second pair…at STP prices, it seemed almost silly not to.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful Florsheim Quality!

My husband loved everything about these shoes. Top quality leather down to the heel collar which on most shoes today is vinyl.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, stylish leather uppers with extremely poor quality soles/heels
Reviewed by Seattle Guy from Seattle, WA on Friday, April 17, 2015
In less than 9 months of daily office use I have worn down the heels to where 3" cuts now exist exposing the interior of the heel (see attached picture). It's such a shame; the shoes are stylish and comfortable with classy stitching and good quality leather uppers. They're light and comfortable even after wearing them for 10+ hours per day. But the wear rate of the heels and the soles make them an extremely poor choice. Given the quality of the heels and soles I could only recommend these as indoor shoes.

Indeed, these do provide a "a cushioned, comfortable fit." Nice looking show as well. Sturdy enough to wear regularly, although I would not go on long walks in this type of shoe. Probably should have bought an additional pair.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Florsheim Reunion

Decades ago used to always wear Florsheim shoes but haven't had a pair in a long time. These appear to be a quality shoe. For me they fit true to size.
