The persimmon color is bright and cheerful. The bag is well padded to protect your laptop. I love the size and since my city has gone bag free, I can throw most items from a quick shopping trip into this bag.

This bag is a lovely happy coral color. The design of the strap is more comfortable than other wide strapped bags I have. Big bonus, it fits my 15" macbook pro in the padded laptop sleeve *barely* with lots of space in the main pocket for files, books, water bottle, wallet... I wish there were more pockets inside and/or that one of the 2 small zippered pockets were larger so it could fit my checkbook-sized wallet away and inside, to keep everything more organized, but I LOVE that it's made from recycled materials.

This is a beautiful piece, well made and large enough even for my 17" laptop. In addition to the outside zipped pocket there are two large inside zipped pockets, one is extra large - about 3/4" width of the bag. I highly recommend this product.

I can see where it could be used for multiple purposes although it is marketed as a laptop tote. I just needed a basic tote that I could take to class or on road trips when I need to keep up with business items. Works well for me but I'm sure it would be great for a laptop too.
