1.0 out of 5 stars. Looks like a garbage bagVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Wednesday, October 28, 2015Horrible material that looks like a cheap garbage bag. I ordered a small and it felt like a large with toddler sleeves sewn on.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Odd fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by HS from Boston on Tuesday, May 19, 2015Keeps you dry, but the XS was quite large on my 5"6' 105 lb frame. Additionally, the pocket seams are high and create s fold in the jacket right in the stomach area and does not look great.

5.0 out of 5 stars. waterproof parkaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Susan from kentucky on Sunday, March 29, 2015I was looking for a new raincoat to wear about town and this has proved to be an excellent choice. I was surprised it was so light weight but it provides excellent waterproof protection and wind protection. It fits over my polar fleece sweaters and is very comfortable. Pretty blue color.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful color, but tight fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kate, peregrina from Ithaca, NY on Wednesday, February 18, 2015I am 5'4 and 130 pounds. I'm small shouldered and often get the XS I ordered S so I could put layers underneath this jacket. It just zipped around my ribs. So I sent it back and ordered a M. Love the color, and the two way zipper and how it covers my behind! I still need to try it in the rain.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Not a great fit.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anna from New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, January 20, 2015Size M, 5'4, 145 lbs.
The coat fit well up top, it would be possible to fit a thicker layer underneath I think, but it was uncomfortably tight in the hips region. Even just sitting down I was worried about how much the coat was stretching, and it defeated the point of it's length by not covering my whole butt when I sat. Going up another size would have been way too baggy on top, with not enough more play in the hips.
Unfortunately had to return, loved the color though. Ended up with a Marmot PreCip that I'm really happy with. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat...just not what I wanted.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Beth M. from MO on Friday, January 16, 2015The length of the coat was great....would totally cover the bum (huge selling point for me.)
The white color was a vivid white...increased visibility. Only 4 stars, because I returned it. I needed a rain coat for running around town and for work, and I thought there may be a better option. Its noisy and at least for me, shapeless. If you need a packable, back packing rain coat- consider this one. If you want something more "classy" looking for wear to work, it didn't provide that (at least for me.) I returned this for the Helly Hansen Ashbury Coat. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great so far! Not great for long armsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alabama on Monday, December 15, 2014I have not used this jacket in the rain yet, so I will have to update if it doesn't perform on that front. I was very excited for the fit though! I am short (5') and have short arms, but I also have boxy shoulders. The large fits just right for me to be able to layer a fleece base under it, which is why I ordered this jacket. However, the sleeves are just the right length for me, so anyone with longer arms will NOT want this jacket. It almost fits like a petite cut.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Love the lengthVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tuxedopup from WA on Friday, December 12, 2014This rain parka fits true to size...a Med fits me perfectly, with room for layering, and I wear an 8/10 in shirts. The length is wonderful, the color bold enough to be seen in inclement weather, and it is very lightweight, with a hood that has good coverage. However, I don't think it breathes well. After wearing it in an on/off light rain for an hour, I can home wet on the inside. Wasn't terrilbly surprised as I had felt clammy after previous shorter walks.... Will keep wearing it though as I really like the length and color.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Not Waterproof!!Reviewed by mushroom whisperer from Northern California on Thursday, December 4, 2014This jacket was wonderful in fit and function until I wore it in the rain and found out it is not waterproof. When I went to the Mountain Hardwear website and saw that they only say it is water resistant it made sense. Sierra Trading Post is misrepresenting this item.
