5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice rod, great value!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Khwhaler from North Carolina on Thursday, December 31, 2015Rod is a well made quality product. Action is light in the tip but med overall. Allows good fish feel but has backbone to handle a larger fish and keep out trouble like pilings and bridge abutments.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Penn RodVerified Buyer Reviewed by flyguy48 from Florida on Wednesday, November 11, 2015I haven't used this rod yet hence the 4 stars. It seems well made and arrived quickly and well packaged. The rod is slightly stiffer than I like but is fast like the description states. I will be using it inshore on the west coast of Florida. Hopefully it will perform as expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Penn Allegiance spinning rodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ken from titusville, nj on Wednesday, July 29, 2015I already had a med-heavy / fast tip Allegiance rod and wanted a little lighter pole for fluke and sea bass fishing. This med-light extra fast tip was the perfect pole. They are light and well balanced, so they don't wear out your arm after 8 hours of hanging on a boat-rail. It was a little hard getting used to the quickness of the tip and hook setting ability, but once I figured it out, it was fine. I am using 20lb Power Pro line and I can feel a lot more hits than with mono on the slightly heavier rod. And for the price? The other 8 guys on the boat couldn't believe what I paid and were mad I didn't give them a heads-up about the sale!
