5.0 out of 5 stars. Take the sizing advice...

Somehow, when I first ordered these pants, I forgot about the advice of the other customer review that a size 10 US would be a 14 UK. I ordered an 8 because I am 5'8" and weigh around 138. The 12 was too small. Gave them to a skinnier friend. I then ordered the 14. That did the trick. Be advised that if you have a more athletic build, they may be a little tight at first, but I know they will give with wear. Also, they are very good quality.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Odd fit

There is no stretch in these pants and on me they restrict movement. I kept them because I had a hike coming up on a warm day and wanted something light to wear. The material is very lightweight, the pockets are nice and deep. But read the care label carefully...these pants cannot be washed with other clothes due to the insect repellant. That's not a problem for me since it seems I always have a number of hand wash items to do, and I got a great little drying rack here at STP. What bothers me the most about these pants is there is absolutely no give. I got the size 8 and I'm glad I did, even if I have to wear a belt because the waist is big. I'm 5'6", 155lbs and normally wear a 6-8 in pants.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. very nice capris

Well the last pair of craghoppers that I bought (different style) I ordered a 14 (US size 10) and they fit ok when putting them on, after wearing for a bit they would loosen up so I ordered these in a 12 (US size 8) and they were a bit snug so I returned for the 14 (US 10) and they fit fine (again) but they do seem to loosen up a bit after wearing. I am 5'7" and weigh 157lbs - hope this helps anyone one looking for info about fit. They are excellent quality - really love them and they have pockets which are great. So many capris these days do not have adequate pockets for hiking.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
