I ususally wear a 9, have medium feet (maybe slightly slim) and the 9 fit well. with the zipper I have to unloosen first 3-4 eyelete laces but they fit and I find them qite nice.

Hubby normally wears size 9 or 9.5, ordered 9. A little snug fit. Hopefully it would stretch a little after a while. The only downside is that it is difficult to get it.

Could not get in, it has a very tight entry, had to unlace them completely.
That alone made my mind to send them back.
another issue for me was the heel pocket, it has a lot of volume, my heel was constantly rising, so I sent them back -
