But since my feet are also narrow, I did not find that to be an issue for me.

I am a woman, but my feet are wide (for a woman) so I often turn to Men's sizes when it is something like these boots that are pretty unisex. However, even though I bought a 1/2 size larger that I usually wear (in MEN's) because they did not have my regular size, my foot would not go into the toebox. How sad, because they are really nice, real leather boots. They have grommets for the top three lace spots, which I have been looking for, and a zipper, too. They are high quality. So, if you have a narrow foot, I'd recommend these. But they really are NOT an "M" in width, unless they have a different scale. I know, because I have many pairs of men's shoes in a size 8M, all of which fit me beautifully. So sad for me, but maybe great for you, if you, like my MIL, have an extremely Narrow foot.
