It's both warm and attractive. The caramel and black color combination is unique and pretty. I like the collar, I was a bit worried that it was a hood rather than a collar and that would not have been my style but this "funnel" collar is smart and warm it's a nice surprise. My friends and co-workers have expressed how nice the coat looks on me.

It has lots of fine details - buttonholes & taping around the lining. It is not heavily insulated, but with a light sweater will be warm enough on days 30 degrees and above. I am 5 ft. 6 in., 145 lbs. and the size 12 fits perfectly. It probably should be worn with a scarf.

Because this is a higher-end brand, it is sized a bit large. I typically wear a 10, but had to exchange it for an 8, which fits perfectly over a blouse or cashmere-weight sweater.

It is light and yet very warm for its weight. The texture is quite smooth and yet so soft it caresses your skin my wife says.
