I am 5'2, 115 lbs and petite built, I got an XS and it fits well. Not too tight, not too loose. It is a little longer the I expected, right around the knee but that is likely due to my height. It has a built in shelf bra and removable pads which are pretty minimal. The fabric is thick enough that you could probably get away without the pads too. The shelf bra is not too tight, which is nice (on me at least, I wear a 32 B) and it could be worn with a racer back bra without it showing. Love it, I think this is going to be a regular for this summer for me.

This dress fits great! The pad inserts are great, giving me a little more than born with, and no bra is necessary, how can you beat that?!

It is the perfect "go to" travel dress which can be worn casual with a denim jacket or easily dressed up with metallics and a shawl. I did not enjoy the weird feeling of the pads in the shelf bra (I'm in my 50's and just don't get the concept!) but as soon as I figured out how to remove them, the dress fit like a dream. I found that it offers just the right amount of support as it is. I also love the fit and how it drops down from the waist....no need to try and suck in your belly after indulgent vacation meals! This was a great deal on sale but I would have been happily paid full price! I am 5'6.5", 130 lbs, 36 bust, 29 waist and the medium fit perfectly.
