Not a big fan of checks, but . . .Verified Buyer Reviewed by WinFly from Research Triangle, NC on Monday, August 3, 2015I'm short (5'6"), so some checks can look odd on me: four squares on the front, four on the back. I bought this shirt because it reminded me of another that I liked, but lost at the laundry. It's turned out to be a nice shirt, and one I like. The pattern has enough white and light that I can wear it in the summer--it doesn't have that 'wintry' look, although it's got enough dark not to be only a summer shirt. The cotton feels nice, and I imagine it will continue to feel nicer as I continue wearing it. Good cut, nice details. It's not a shirt for weekend yard chores, but fits right in at work or on weekends.

The fabrics, fit and construction are top notch. The problem I'm having is that they are so discounted at times, I can't say no, and have too large a collection to wear them all.
