3.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality but HUGE!Reviewed by Wader from WA state on Monday, January 12, 2015This coat runs really big! I'm 5'8", 160 Lbs and normally wear a medium so I ordered a Medium. It is really huge-more like an X-Large. They don't have any small sizes left so I am returning for a refund. The quality seems good and it's a good-looking coat so I'm disappointed that I can't find one that fits.

I gave away my other field jacket, ranch style coat easily after wearing this one. I like the style and am really pleased with the value received. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the velcro cuffs, prefer snaps. Small stuff, I can add them if I want.

I am normally between a large small and a small medium so I ordered a small based on reviews of this coat listed under Powder River Outfitters (same coat). The small I received is still somewhat big on me but as the weather gets colder I'll also be wearing more layers so I'm sure I won't be swimming in it.
The cinch cords on the inside kind of let me down though. It would be much better if the cinch cord went the entire waist but these are only on the hips and don't cinch the back. I have a plan for that though since I like the coat and don't want to return it.
Overall, a very well made coat that looks like it will give years of wear. The price was certainly right. -

I usually wear xxl because of wide shoulders and long arms, however an xl is even big on me. I would suggest ordering one size down. Also the color on the web page for brown diplays kind of a reddish brown. It is dark brown with light trim. Not as good looking in person. Basically 4 star because i I did not get what I ordered.
