5.0 out of 5 stars. Almost Perfect

These tights fit well. They do not feel overly constricting. The quality of the fabric is great. I like the pockets. The zip up on the bottom of the tights are necessary because they make it much easier to get on. They were not as warm as I had hoped. By cold weather do they mean 40-50 degrees? Anything under that I would have to have another pair of pants to layer over them. I wore them under my jeans and under snow pants to keep warm during a cold front.

I bought these to use in the colder months. They are thicker than other tights I own and seem warm so far. They are a nice combination of compression and comfort too! I was pleasantly surprised! Most compression wear just feels like it's a size too small. These feel snug in all the right places but not "small". I'm 5'3", 130lbs and the medium is a perfect fit!

They fit great, I got the XL and I'm a 15'ish. Nice and warm by themselves in low 40's, upper 30's. I'll layer some thin merino bottoms under them if I venture out in the 20"s

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
