I like wearing hiking shoes, especially those lined with Gore-Tex. I hate wet feet, and who knows what sewage or garbage that run-off water soaking your shoes has been thru. I still like wearing a "tennis" shoe at home, the gym, the movies, shopping, car travel, etc., but especially need the right shoe to wear for some ongoing physical therapy. Besides being a terrific looking shoe, the Asics Gel-Exalt has exceptional padding and strong support in the right places making it very comfortable to wear while taking physical therapy. I have worn Asics for over 2 decades having always found the fit to be excellent and the shoe true to size. My running days are now over, but I am sure this shoe would be an exceptional piece of gear for all, including the professional runner.
