I find it to be well designed and constructed using good quality hardware. I've already loaded it with some small fly boxes. leaders and tippet material. Enough for small trips. It might not be ideal for all day trips to multiple streams and rivers but t have a vest for those trips. I only gave it 4 stars because its been used very little but it certainly seems durable. Outstanding service from Sierra Trading Post arrived promptly

This is a quality item that puts all the bare bones items for a fly fishing outing at you finger tips without a cumbersome load. Great for grab and go angling.

Will easily fit two or three med/small fly boxes, tippet , leaders, and misc gear with room for a powerbar or two. Neck strap is wide and should be comfortable. Lots of places to attach nippers and other gear. My only complaint is that the front compartment is a little small making it not that useful. I'll probably use it for floatant and my point-n-shoot camera.
