5.0 out of 5 stars. LEKI Corklite Anti-Shock Hybrid Trekking PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, April 8, 2015I'm a big hiker so I look forward to getting a lot of use out of theses poles. So far I've only gone on a couple hikes with them but they felt very comfortable right away. I bought the LEKI rubber walking tips since they are required in some national parks such as Yosemite; they also help to soften the impact in addition to the spring in the pole. I personally don't like the feel of the metal to the rock. The hand grip is more comfortable than my previous hiking poles (Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock which I lost & liked as well) and the poles are nice and light. They seem very sturdy so I think the first thing that will wear out are the handles. This model looks just like the 2015 model and it's great to know that all LEKI aluminum shafts have a lifetime warranty. If I could have one wish, I would prefer to have them collapse smaller for fitting into a carry-on suitcase, but other than that, they're perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great adjustable trekking polesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Tuesday, January 27, 2015Already had them out in the hills. Easy to adjust and light on the pack. Highly recommend but only time will prove durability. Bought a second pair for me since my wife decided she wanted the first pair. As always, a great price at STP. Looking forward to trekking out West this summer

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good Poles for the MoneyVerified Buyer Reviewed by hillrunneross from Wyoming on Tuesday, December 30, 2014I love the handles on these poles. I have had some slippage on the lower section of the poles in the snow. I'm not sure why this is happening. I'm a big guy and wiegh 230. Maybe that is the problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Fan from Western NC on Sunday, December 28, 2014The product features and appearance are a great combination. The color is last year's design which is nicely painted and protected. The light weight, pole length extension, grip design, anti-shock absorption and combination cork/rubber handle make this a top notch trekking pole. A great upgrade to my hiking equipment.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very Nice TrekkersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Lake Tahoe on Tuesday, December 16, 2014I had a chance to use these once for a 2 hour hill hike. The weight is fine and after a half hour I forgot I was using them - that tells me they're really comfortable. The only drawback is the bottom twist lock mechanism does occasionally come loose - but I tightened them more and they stopped slipping.
I would recommend these poles for average all around use to anyone.
