I LOVE this dress!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Soccerjulie27 from Iowa on Saturday, September 10, 2016I bought this dress because I love Mountain Hardwear's Butter material, and I was looking for a non-cotton dress to wear around casually in the summertime. Well, while I was disappointed that this material is not the same Butter material I originally fell in love with, the dress is everything I hoped it would be! It's not super dressy, so I can where it pretty much whenever. I especially love it on super sticky, hot days when I'm going to be outside for awhile. The material doesn't stick to your legs when you sit down, it wicks sweat, and the fit was perfect. I felt confident, and beautiful in it, and now i finally have a casual summer dress to where around in the summer!

I ordered a small first since that is normally my size, but it was much to tight. So I exchanged it for a medium and it still ran small and tight around the stomach, but was ok. The quality of the dress is great, but order a size up.

I have another mountain hardwear dress in size small, and it fits fine. this one was very small through the hips - so small that I returned it and ordered a large. the hips are fine on the large, but the chest is too big. the dress just has strange proportions, and I am not usually too hard to fit. i am now returning the second dress and forgetting it.

I usually wear a Medium in Mountain Hardwear tops and a Large in bottoms as MH does not seem to make enough room for my hips in their mediums. This dress holds true to this same premise. I ordered a medium and the top fit perfect including offering enough shelf bra support but it was way too tight in the hips and butt. You can actually see this in the product picture, notice that they dress hugs tight way past your hips and butt. this is exactly how it fits. I am a C+ in chest and although the halter top was really comfortable, it did not quite offer enough coverage. I expected to be showing a bit more cleavage but that was actual narrow and the lack of coverage was on the sides. I definitely wouldn't fall out but wasn't really comfortable showing side [...]. Overall just didn't quite fit me right, so i returned it.

The fabric is soft and comfortable, not too thin, and the colours are very true to what I saw onscreen. I'm 5'9", 175# and I found the size L to be a little snug through the waist, but will keep it anyway as I love the colours and there wasn't a size XL available. For reference, my Mountain Hardwear tops are both size M, and I usually wear a size 12 or L in pants or dresses. With the snug fit, there's no forgiveness in this dress -- undergarments will need to chosen carefully to avoid lines and bulges.
