But, I needed a nice watch for certain occasions. Seems classy, yet down to earth. The leather band is a very dark brown and the watch itself is pretty thick. I wouldn't get this to wear at work if you work with your hands. Great price!

Watch speaks quality with an exquisite face. A nice heft to it without being too heavy. My only quibble with it is that the watch is a little thick, and that leaves it sitting about 1/4 inch higher than the watch band. Might not bother some, but I'd like there to be a more seamless transition from watch band to watch.

It is my first Swiss watch, though I have owned many Wenger knives over the years. Nice big easy to read numerals. It is stainless steel, so it is heavier than the titanium watch it replaced, but not unwieldy. I plan to use this as a work watch ( I teach school) and for dressier occasions.
