5.0 out of 5 stars. Danskos have nothing on Sanitas
Reviewed by Anonymous from Manassas, VA on Saturday, November 22, 2014
So, Dansko pulled the company out of Denmark to make their clogs cheaper somewhere else...in steps, Sanita. And, I just got these clogs yesterday. I love them...wore them last night and plan on wearing them today! They look even better in person. I am writing this review because I had read a really negative one about one person's Sanita clogs looking cheap. Not at all the way I feel. I think Danskos are my clogs of the past...I love these...fit and feel just like my Danskos. And, the price cannot be beat! I am a clog convert!

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Was so Excited...

I was so excited for these shoes. I am a teacher and needed something comfortable for hours on my feet. I ordered my size, but had to return those for a size bigger. This was frustrating for 2 reasons - 1. I had to wait another week. 2. I was charged another $10. Apparently there is no such thing as even exchange at STP.
The sides where the shoe has the seem for the front and back is really rough. I ended up with a super painful abrasion on the sides of my feet where the shoe seam is. I have since covered that area of the shoe with moleskin, but have not worn them again. The part that hits the top of the foot is tight .
I am glad I bout these on sale. I wonder why nurses and others swear by these shoes, because they only hurt me.

Comfortable and cute for spring with jeans. Amazing price (of course) with the coupon deal. Fit is exact, or maybe just slightly small.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great summer colors

Great clog & great fit but rough around the edges of fabric on the inside of shoe. Haven't worn them for a prolonged period yet, so I don't know if they will irritate feet from the rough edges. Great colors for summer & spring.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Love These Shoes

This is my 7th pair of Sanitas and 6th from ST. I absolutely love them. They are the only shoes I wear on my 12 hour shifts. Since I started wearing Sanitas to work my back pain has almost completely gone away. With the prices at ST it's no wonder I have so many pair!

About Sanita

By their ultra-stylish looks, you'd never know Sanita clogs and comfort shoes carried the Seal of Acceptance of the American Podiatric Medical Association. The Sanita company began hand-crafting clogs in Denmark in 1907, where their unique style (inspired by the shoe's quaint wooden predecessor) had become the footwear of choice among Scandanavians. Originally designed for people who work on their feet, Sanita clogs and shoes are now worn by everyone from doctors and nurses to mechanics and kitchen staff (even Emeril endorses a chef clog collection). Made from the highest quality materials, Sanita specializes in orthopaedically correct fit, moisture-absorbing linings and shock-absorbing polyurethane soles to cushion impact from the hard ground.
