Contraire to STP claim of wool/polyester blend this made in China cap label claims 90/10 poly/wool. It is a very thin cap. It is lined, but it is not a hat. The brim is doubled in material, semi-rigid, making it substantial compared to the rest and the elastic band is sewn from back of brim. It is a weak elastic that I suspect will feel too loose for smaller sized heads. Larger heads will feel more strain from trying to stretch the cap/elastic/liner hem.
Lightweight makes for easy packing as I bought this to take hiking for when it turns cool. Not a winter cap though better than nothing. Had this been listed as poly/wool prior to purchase I would've given four stars. Had it actually been more wool than poly five stars. As is, thin w/90% poly even w/liner, three is the best I can offer. -
