Light to medium weight for cool weather (above 40 deg F) without additional layering. Lined sleeves were nice for putting on easily. Adjustable sleeve cuffs should hold up well. I purchased XL size, which fit well with sufficient movement and room for layering underneath (I am 42-44 chest size).
I was surprised that the interior side of the hand pockets were just loose flaps inside the jacket, making the jacket appear more cheaply constructed. I would have expected that Browning would have designed the jacket pockets to be between the fabric layers for a jacket retailing for $130+. It was a good buy from STP for under $45.
