Very comfortable. Contrary to another review I had no trouble removing insole to insert by orthotic. Very high quality.

Very soft, good quality leather and construction. They run true to size (I ordered 37. I wear size 37 in Danskos, and size 7 in Merrell, Born, and Keen. My foot is wide, and these boots are a little narrow for me, but the leather is soft enough that they are stretching out and will be fine.) They look great with leggings.

The leather is soft and gorgeous. The sizing is accurate - if not a little generous. Plenty of room for thick socks. And, they have a sort of biker-type look that appeals to me.
Sadly, these had to go back for these reasons: there is no support in the boot and the insole does not come out (for a replacement insole). In addition - and this is super important to me - I live in a climate where we get snow and ice. The soles of these boots are more of a hard, slick plastic than sticky rubber. There is tread on these boots, but I know from past experiences that even with tread, the material of which it is made will make them slippery for me on ice/snow/wet pavement.
