This is a great pair. Based on the recommendations to order up.....I took it! Doing so just slightly loose in the waist, but the legs fit just fine. I could only imagine if I had ordered my American standard this would only be able to go to just over my knees. Thank goodness for the comments. This is typical for most if not all of our European counterparts in the outdoor clothing department.

Yes.....they run small! This prompted me to order two sizes up based on the reviews posted here. I am normally a 38" on the heavy side with muscular thick legs....you should have no problems with the fit including the waist if you order up. Since these are euro based sizing they run true to sizing exact sizing. I guess our american measurements run on the large side. Material is great with the stretch an added plus.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Light weight, comfotable and durable

I just wore these on a hiking/camping trip in the Rockies they performed excellently. I was notable surprised at how warm I they were considering they are thin pants. Great freedom of movement and tear resistant. We encountered a lot of fallen trees and debris from the recent floods and not a scratch or tear is to be found on them. They do run small though. I wear a 34 waist in everything else, but needed a 36 in these. But come on, if you buy clothes online without ever having tried on that brand in a store.....what do you expect?

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
