5.0 out of 5 stars. it is cozy

This is a very thick fleece. Mine does not have the pink ribbons, which is fine with me as I had planned to take them off. Think it runs smaller than most MH tops, or maybe it is just that it is not as stretchy as most, in fact there is very little stretch. I wear a small top in MH, and the small fits me, but because there is so little stretch, I think the medium would have been more comfortable.I am 5'7", 127 pounds. It looks quite nice on - more like a sweater than a fleece. Love it.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Super cozy and warm!

It's made of super thick dense soft fleece. I'm 5'4" and (really out of shape) 130# and the small fits me well, there's room for a thin layer underneath. Small is my usual size in this brand. Despite me not being my usual fit self it does have a nice shape to it for this sort of thing. It's a big thick fleece hoodie with a kangaroo pocket after all! Covers my butt. There's zero stretch so getting it on and off is a bit of a challenge. Not terrible but certainly not graceful. The zippered hidden pocket is a great touch, I wish it was bigger; my 4S iPhone fits but there's not much room for anything else beyond a few credit cards. The red is a really nice color- as another reviewer also mentioned, the one I received does not have hood strings, and the zipper is not hot pink but a matching red/burgundy color. It's cute with leggings and slimmer cut jeans. I like it, I'll probably get a lot of use out of it, but I'm glad I got it on super discount. That being said, I'm now eyeballing the black color. If it was a little stretchy with a bigger interior zip pocket I'd be all over the other colors.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Cute and Warm!

I loved this hooded tunic and so wanted to keep it but it would have been way too warm for indoor use. I am 5'1" and 110 lbs and the small looked great with leggings. Unfortunately it is a very warm fleece better for outdoor use. If you are a woman who is always cold, this is tunic may be perfect for you but not for a 50+ woman going through the change of life.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. warm but shapelss

This hoodie felt very warm and comfortable and was true to size but it looked "sacky" on so I chose to return it. If it had princess seams it would have made all the difference.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Odd fit

I really wanted to like this sweater, but it just didn't sit right on me. The kangaroo pocket pooched and didn't seem to lay flat. Also, wasn't as pictured; there were no drawstrings to the hood on the one I received.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
