4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm Scarf That Keeps Out the Elements

My whole life I've always had knit scarfs through which wind would blow ... they were cute, but lacked utility. I bought this scarf so that I'd finally have a REAL scarf -- not fashion accessory -- for the winter. It's very soft due to the fleece fabric and quite warm. My only critiques are that it could be a bit longer (it's 60", which is just barely enough to wrap around your neck twice), the "fur" accent looks a bit dish towel-esque, and the graphite color (which I ordered) just looks like a faded black rather than a gray. But overall I do like this scarf and think it will work well both for my life in temperate Northern California, and for my yearly holiday treks to chilly Colorado.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
