Comfortable shoe with "midsole foam" problemsReviewed by Marnie from Colorado on Wednesday, July 22, 2015I purchased New Balance 1745 Walking Shoes (WW1745WT) in size 8.5 from Sierra Trading Post in May 2015. I wore the shoes every day on a trip to Walt Disney World/Universal in June. They were very comfortable and lightweight--great for all that walking. However, the insoles slip towards the heel, leaving a 1/4-1/2 inch gap at the front, so that my toes curl over the end. Also, the insoles have developed an annoying, scrunching squeak with every step. I have dusted the inside of the shoe and the insoles with cornstarch; however, the squeak remains.
