5.0 out of 5 stars. Sorel Glacy slip-on boots

I got these from Sierra and absolutely loved them. They were comfortable and cute, however, I read on another website that they were "dangerous on tile" . I once had a pair of Columbia boots that were treacherous when wet and walking indoors on some surfaces, I ended up tossing them. So based on that, I returned these Sorels. I would love to hear if anyone has any comments on this because I would buy these again in a second if only I could be assured that they were not "dangerous on tile"

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, durable and warm!

I visited Chicago in February. These kept me warm and saved my toes. Felt as though I was wearing slippers. Do not order a size up.... i did this and had to return them for my usual size.. and they still are a bit loose. Still love them though! If they came in different colors I'd probably buy another pair.

I love these! Warm, comfortable, easy to get on and off. Have not yet worn them in much snow, so not sure of their waterproofing, but loving them so far!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. cute & comfy

They are cute and comfortable. I like them. However they are sort of loose and floppy in the heel area, so a long winter's day walk is probably out of the question. Aside from that small lack of utility, they are great. Kinda like bedroom slippers on steroids.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs a bit big

My feet are between a size 9.5 and 10, so I ordered up, however they were too sloppy on my feet, so I exchanged for a 9.5. Hoping they are a good fit. I will say that the boots are incredibly comfortable - the soles are well cushioned and they are super warm and are easy to get on and off. I got them to be a waterproof alternative to my Uggs and a replacement for my Le Canadians.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
