He hasn't taken it off since I gave it to him. I got him the kids beanie hat in the same shade of green. The gaiter is tight and actually acts like a turtleneck with a non-collared shirt. Comes up over mouth and nose well. Pulled back over head it is like encompassing your head in a tight scarf. Would order more but do not like that green color.

This one is not the same. It is double-layer and sewn so you can't pull it up over your head like you can with the other ones. And it is so tight that I felt like I was choking when I put it on. Returned it.
