The part that comes up over the calf is so huge, one can wrap it around the leg one and a half times.

I haven't been able to wear in snow yet, but it feels like they'll be warm. However, they run SMALL. I'm disappointed about this, because the product detail says specifically in red letters "Half sizes order down". When they got here, they fit snug, so I went back and looked at the product details again. Yes it says in red that half size should order down, but then at the very bottom of the description, it says in black that half sizes should order up. How confusing... That should be fixed but that's not the boot's fault. As others have said, the heel is big and loose, even though the boot overall runs small. Anyway, if you can figure the sizing out, pretty good boot for the price.

Run VERY small- I normally wear a 71/2 in Keens, and I ordered an 8 1/2 based on other's reviews. They fit perfectly, just like my normal 7 1/2 keen shoes.
