The white decorative hand stitch on the edge is a very nice addition. I always like to use cotton napkins because they stay on my guests' laps where they belong. So far I have used them on Fourth of July with my red, white, and blue themed table and since with pale blue place mats as a contrast. Lots of compliments both times.
